Tuface Idibia Reported Missing by Family, DSS Intervention Requested.
The Idibia family has raised alarm over the alleged disappearance of Nigerian music icon, Innocent “Tuface” Idibia, also known as Tubaba.
They have now called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to intervene and help locate the singer.
According to the family, Tuface left home on February 10 wearing lounge clothes, without his bodyguard. Initially, they assumed he was just taking a walk and would return soon. However, four days have passed, and he has not been seen or heard from.
Adding to their concerns, some of Tuface’s friends reportedly received strange messages from him asking for financial help—a behavior the family finds alarming since they insist that the singer is financially stable and has no reason to beg.
The family also revealed that Tuface, who is known for his dedication to music and constant studio sessions, has missed all his scheduled work in recent days. This unusual behavior has deepened their fears, prompting them to file an official petition for police intervention.
Despite claims that Tuface is missing, recent videos on social media suggest otherwise. In one viral clip, the legendary singer was seen proposing to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Irobosa Osawaru.
In response to this, Tuface’s mother, Rose Idibia, released a video urging Osawaru to “free” her son, implying that the singer might not be missing but rather entangled in a controversial situation.
The Idibia family has officially filed a petition regarding Tuface’s disappearance, urging authorities to investigate and ensure his safety.
