Tragedy struck during a birthday celebration as Aryan Reddy, a 23-year-old Indian student at Kansas State University, lost his life in a gun-related accident.

Atlanta, Georgia – A 23-year-old Indian student, Aryan Reddy, tragically died in the United States after accidentally discharging his hunting rifle during his birthday celebration.

The incident occurred on November 13 at his residence in Atlanta, Georgia.

Reddy, a second-year Master of Science student at Kansas State University, reportedly took out his newly purchased hunting rifle during the celebration.

While handling the weapon, he accidentally fired a shot that struck him in the chest, according to local authorities.

Hearing the gunshot, Reddy’s friends, who were in another room, rushed to find him severely injured and lying in a pool of blood.

They immediately transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Reddy hailed from Telangana’s Bhuvanagiri district, while his family currently resides in the Uppal district. Officials have confirmed that Aryan Reddy’s body will be flown to his hometown later tonight for final rites.
